Data from the U.S. International Trade Commission published in an ICIS article indicates another moderate gain year on year for U.S. May exports of polypropylene (PP). Shipments to China and India account for the increase. Shipments to China more than doubled while exports to India more than tripled. According to the American Chemistry Council (ACC), PP exports accounted for 5.6% of total North American production in the first five months of the year.
